AC Milan Women managed to beat Roma 1-0 in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final. They did so despite having four starters out and Martina Piemonte was the big hero.
Asllani, Mascarello, Arnadottir and Thomas all missed out on the clash today and that was of course a blow for Maurizio Ganz’s side. Fortunately, they did enough anyway as Martine Piemonte’s goal was enough to seal the win.
Our correspondent Luca Maninetti was present and only had words of praise for the Rossonere after the full-time whistle. The return leg will be played on the 11th.
