AC Milan Women, thanks to the 0-0 draw against Sassuolo earlier today, secured their spot in next season’s Champions League. It’s the first time that they have qualified for the competition, hitting a milestone.
A draw was all it took for the Rossonere as they now have a three-point lead over Sassuolo ahead of the final round. And since they have H2H advantage on the Neroverdi, it doesn’t matter what happens in the next game.
The players were obviously delighted with the achievement and Milan published a video of the celebrations after the full-time whistle.
