A stroke of fortune got AC Milan off the mark at the Stadio Bentegodi against Hellas Verona as an own-goal inside the opening ten minutes made it 1-0.
In the ninth minute, Milan took the lead and just like last seasonās game it came via a run from Rafael Leao. The winger burst down the left flank and beat his man into the box, attempting to find a man with a cut-back that ended up deflecting in off Miguel Veloso for an own-goal.
