Ante Rebic got his second goal of the game midway through the second half, giving Milan a two-goal advantage for the first time against Udinese.
The goal came from some excellent work by Messias on the right side of the Udinese box as he won the ball back from Perez, with Brahim Diaz picking up possession and putting it into a dangerous area where Rebic was on hand to double his tally for the night.
