Tijjani Reijnders played the entire game for The Netherlands against Scotland and opened the scoring with a lovely long-range effort. The midfielder is going from strength to strength, having added good shooting to his game.
The Dutchman arrived at Milan from AZ Alkmaar last summer and he impressed from the get-go, covering a lot of ground and showcasing impressive passing. However, his shooting abilities left a bit to be desired, but it seems that has changed now.
After scoring the goal against Slavia Praha on the edge of the box, Reijnders added another cracking goal to his tally in the Netherlands’ clash against Scotland. An unsavable effort, guiding his side to a 4-0 win in the end.

The midfielder wasn’t finished there, though, as he also bagged a really nice assist for the final goal of the game, catching the Scotland defence off guard with a great vertical pass. In other words, he was perhaps the MOTM for the Netherlands last night.

Milan will be hoping that he can continue this form as an important game against Fiorentina awaits. Theo Hernandez will be suspended, so the other key players will have to step up in his absence.
