Watch: Saelemaekers explains positive ‘pressure’ and says Scudetto would be ‘incredible’

By Isak Möller -

Alexis Saelemaekers is one of the players that are expected to start for AC Milan in their deciding clash against Sassuolo. After a tough 2022 generally, he has lifted himself up and is now looking forward to the game.

The Belgian winger has received a lot of criticism this season but in the last few weeks, we have seen signs of improvement. Therefore, he should get the chance from start tomorrow as well.

Speaking to TLN, as you can see in the video below, Saelemaekers discussed what it would mean to win the Scudetto and also previewed the clash, among other things.

“We feel some pressure but it’s a good thing. We shouldn’t think about the reverse fixture, we’re a stronger team than five-six months ago. If we play with passion and give everything we have, we’ll be able to play our game.

“If someone had told me ten years ago that I could win the Scudetto at Milan, just two years after joining the club, I wouldn’t have believed it. For me and many of my teammates, we still haven’t won anything, it would be incredible,” he stated.

Take a look at the full interview in the video below.
