Sandro Tonali signed his contract renewal with AC Milan earlier today and the club published the official announcement this evening. The midfielder will remain until at least 2027, something he’s very happy about.
Tonali was a key player for Stefano Pioli’s side during the Scudetto season and after taking a pay cut to join the Rossoneri permanently, he has now been given a pay rise. In fact, he will most likely earn double (meaning around €3m per year).
Speaking to the club’s official social channels, Tonali shared his thoughts on the renewal (see video below).
“Hi guys, I’m very happy with this renewal and to have extended my stay at Milan. You know how deep my love is for these colours. I thank you for the support you provide us, with your backing we can achieve great things. Forza Milan!”
