Watch: Tonali stretchered off during Italy’s friendly against Albania – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

There was a worrying sight for AC Milan fans tonight as Sandro Tonali was stretchered off in the first half of Italy’s friendly against Albania.

Tonali was jumping for an aerial ball and seemed to roll around the back of his opponent before landing awkwardly on his shoulder. He was clearly in a great deal of pain, but the obvious relief is that it isn’t an injury related to his legs or lower body which would of course create lots of complications.

According to TMW, there is reassuring news on the Sandro Tonali front as he hit his head on the ground but he is conscious. Further checks will be carried out in the next few hours.

    1. dangerous play by the albanian, hes not trying for the ball at all and you can see him stepping into tonali while he is mid air. Why is he doing that in a freindly

  1. Milan players need to start faking injuries prior to international games so they don’t get called up as other teams do. Our players keep getting injured in meaningless games
