Watch: Tonali the hero again in Verona as he puts Milan ahead late

By Oliver Fisher -

Sandro Tonali got his first goal of the season for AC Milan and it could hardly have come at a better time as he put his team ahead late.

With just less than 10 minutes left on the clock, Milan got their second goal and it was Tonali who was the hero just like in the same fixture last season. A ball from Leao out to the right found Rebic and he put an inch-perfect ball into the middle for Tonali, who sidefooted through Montipo’s legs first time.

    1. That stu*pid question alone says you indeed watched but didnt understand the match. lol last year MVP is miles ahead of Tonali tho I am not a tonali hater. In fact, Tonali’s goal was actually created by Last year’s MVP.

      1. LOL. No need to get upset. 😀

        – Looks like you are the one who didn’t understand. I didn’t ask “which is a better player” – I asked who played better yesterday.

Sure, Leao got lucky in the 1st goal and was involved in the 2nd but the rest of the 90mins he was missing. Tonali on the other hand was everywhere and visible the whole 90 minutes.

  1. I’m not one of those haters, but both play well today. It was Leao’s assist for first goal and he started the move for second goal with long pass to Rebic at right wing.

Today Tonali was good, he is everywhere in the middle, solid defensively and decent going forward.

And Rebic showed that he can play decent as a right wing.
