ANSA: What Cardinale told Milan players in dressing room after Real Madrid win

There was a meeting between the two managements of Real Madrid and AC Milan prior to last night’s game at the Santiago Bernabeu, a report has revealed.

According to MilanNews, a meeting between the Milan management and Real’s owner/president Florentino Perez did take place, even if it was not via the customary UEFA lunch that normally takes place.

At around 11am, the cars carrying the Rossoneri delegation crossed the gates of the Valdebebas sports centre where the Madrid number one welcomed them.

It was a visit that lasted about an hour and a half, where the facilities of the Ciudad Deportiva del Real – one of the most cutting-edge sports centres in the world – were viewed first hand.

Once that was over, the Milan management returned to the hotel while the delegation designated to participate in the UEFA lunch went to the historic restaurant ‘Zalacain’. Perez communicated in advance his absence due to a work commitment at his construction company.

Meanwhile, ANSA (via MilanNews) Gerry Cardinale went into the dressing room after the game and said he was proud of Milan, congratulating the team after a 3-1 victory.

He said he ‘appreciated that the team remained united’ underlining that the ownership and management are always at their side to support them both individually and collectively.

Cardinale then said he will take with him when he returns to the United States the satisfaction of having seen Milan demonstrate at the Bernabeu the potential that they can achieve things as a team.

  1. That picture of the clowns altogether celebrating their beloved boss is ridiculous af. Looks like a win against a lousy Real Madrid is like winning a championship these days. Damn I hate these idiots so much.

      1. Really, I don’t recall how many times on this website that Bartholomeo has been accused of being anti American due to his critique of the ownership and now you say that he should stick to American Football 😀 come on man.
He isn’t too wrong either even though it was a great win for us.

        1. Looks like the corporate bullsht « we did it together » from the boss and managers who are doing nothing but trimming the costs. I have no illusion that all the mistakes that these idiots are stockpiling for a year won’t magically vanish with that (pleasant) win against a weak Real Madrid. It’s the usual euphoria following a win right now and let’s enjoy it because it rarely lasts long.

  2. LoL all toxic comments, enjoy the win and thats it. Even Man City in the worst time of Real couldnt beat them with the 22 top players, so shut the f up. CHL is in MILANS DNA and if you dont enjoy Milan now remember 5-0 Atalanta or the players we had Bertolacci, Poli, Lapadula, and so many more.. So enjoy it.

    1. False.. making stuff up just cause you dont like him. He was there in liverpool loss, he was there napoli loss.

Plenty of true critique out there for Cardinale… no need to lie.
