AC Milan are currently lacking a figure who commands respect and authority within the head offices of Lega Serie A, according to journalist Michael Cuomo.
Milan’s 24-game unbeaten run came to an end on Sunday evening as they were beaten by Parma in a game that had plenty of controversy. Ruben Loftus-Cheek was taken out by Corvi and had to go to hospital in a neck brace for surgery, yet a foul went to Parma.

The Englishman could well be out for the season as a result of his injuries, yet there was another sting to come. The winning goal came 10 minutes from time and was initially ruled out by the referee for a block on Mike Maignan, yet an On-Field Review was called and the decision was reversed.
Experts tend to argue that disallowing the goal was the right call, but it is the latest in a string of incidents to go against the Rossoneri. Cuomo spoke to MilanNews the day after Milan’s defeat against the Gialloblu at San Siro to give his thoughts on why decisions keep going against the club.
“The refereeing issue and his communication management have brought to light all of Milan’s limitations. Allegri had dictated the strategy: keep quiet and not waste energy on controversy,” he begins.
“Someone else at the club thought it would be a good idea to leak the rumours to the front page, thinking it would make a big deal. In reality, everyone reacted with a raspberry. And while Chiellini and Comolli speak on TV, Marotta holds a conference in the Lega Serie A, and Manna shouts into the microphones, it’s unclear what Milan are doing.
“The images of Parma’s goal are there to see, but what remains are the assistant coach and a dressing room leader, Gabbia, who isn’t the captain and wasn’t even on the pitch, who are doing everything they can to highlight their own mistakes and not those of others.
“Then you open the newspapers and read about the irritation of a club that feels penalised. The Scudetto battles are being fought here too, but Milan sorely miss an Adriano Galliani. If a club feels penalised, they speak up: not by leaking, not by demanding it be exposed, but by putting their face on the line with their CEO. Otherwise, rightly, no one will believe them.”

The man’s a legend, but I don’t remember him “speaking up” when Juventus was clearly favored by the referees. Even if he had more connections than the piece of filth Scaroni (who doesn’t?), it didn’t really show on the field.
They keep appointing a referee that has hatred towards Milan and we keep accepting it as a mistake, it’s not a coincidence that the same referee keep penalizing us
Milan is accustomed to my holding our heads high despite sporting injustices. When Baldy did speak up (ghost goal, free kicks taken incorrectly, Calciopoli investigators etc), what exactly happened? Nothing much really. The mentality is that u have to play better than the officiating to avoid these issues
Historically Milan have tried to take the high ground. It has led them nowhere. Heck, we even got penalized unfairly during Calciopoli because the club refused to defend themselves properly.
Meanwhile, the biggest offender of controversy reap the rewards (I’m talking Inter by the way).
This is why this club deserves every bad and unfair thing that happens to it.
