Massimiliano Allegri wants AC Milan to sign a top striker this summer, and Aleksandar Mitrovic has once again emerged as a suggestion.
There is the need for a reboot of Milan’s attack, given that Alvaro Morata, Tammy Abraham and Luka Jovic put together numbers that are not satisfactory. The top scorers last season were Christian Pulisic and Tijjani Reijnders, while Santiago Gimenez needs time to adapt.

Thus, in recent weeks there has been talk of the Rossoneri being in the market for a new centre-forward, one who can guarantee double digits in goals per season.
Milan turn to Mitrovic
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via SpazioMilan) this morning, the candidacy of Mitrovic is rising, a Serbian striker who – after a long period in England – has been at Al-Hilal for two years but is thinking of returning to Europe.
The terms of the deal, at least as far as the transfer fee is concerned, would not be unfavourable. There is talk of a figure around €20m but the salary would still be quite high, in the region of €5m net per year.

Nonetheless, Mitrovic is an experienced profile and he has a fantastic scoring record (111 goals in 206 games for Fulham, 68 in 79 for Al-Hilal), which could be ideal. Also because the difficulties for the other strikers on the radar are even greater.
Atalanta want around €50-60m for Mateo Retegui and more or less the same outlay is required for Darwin Nunez, who is also wanted by Napoli. Viktor Gyokeres is not even worth talking about, Moise Kean also costs a lot, leaving only Dusan Vlahovic as a credible alternative.

Vlahovic is a superior player. Mitrovic is a target man, as slow as it gets, build up play 0.
Another our ex-fave player, where is immobile.
Towards the the end of season we saw that if we started the season with 3 back we had a very high chance of winning the league and even doing much better in champions league and now instead of building on that by keeping the coach who realize his fault and will give his all next season we rather fired him and hired a coach who is going to give us a season of try and error…. I hope I am wrong but if not this season will be over before it’s start
This is a bizarre take. I thought Milan looked like a team in disarray even with the 3 man back line
Another clown….😭
will he left ulimited $ club for the cheapest big club in Europe?
it’s obvious why he’s in Arab now
Sure he can score 70 goals in 75 games when he’s playing in the beer league. This team needs a real striker, osimhen, lucca, mateta
You forgot we’re not entitled for european championship. So real strikers are harder to get.
This is the ambition of Redbird??? Mitrovic as our starting striker??
What happened to “all the Tiji money”???
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO
Mitrovic can deliver I like dat get him,his an experience striker.
I honestly don’t see anything wrong with getting mitrovic… He will be of better assistance to Gimenez
I honestly never understood how Mitrovic never played at Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern or some other top club. The guy is brutal goal scorer and wherever he played he heavily delivered. If acquired he will score 20+ goals in his first Serie A season. Mitrovic is better than Inzaghi, Baggio and Sheva combined but for some reason he was never wanted by big clubs. Truy unbelievable.
If Milan recruit more “grandfather” It will be “grandfathers” Club not Milan anymore. It will be optimize if use Morata as a mentor for Gimenez at least Morata have experiences play at serie A , investation Gimenez will be not rubbish. For Middle it will be effective if Milan bring back Tonali. For left n right back Milan must more recruit potential player n give more playing times (not grandfather) use senior player become duplicator like Albertini to Pirlo, Maldini to Nesta, Nesta to Silva. Must combine young n senior player but not to much senior players just 2-3 senior players is enough.
