Christian Pulisic scored two goals and provided an assist in AC Milan’s win against Udinese. However, at full-time, it wasn’t all about celebrating for the American star.
Pulisic broke the deadlock for Milan at Stadio Friuli, making the most of a goalkeeper rebound inside the box. He went on to set up the second goal through great defending in the second half, before firing the third past the goalkeeper.

In short, it was a fantastic display and he was rightfully named the MOTM. Despite this, according to a report by Gazzetta dello Sport, it wasn’t all about celebrating for Pulisic after the game as he apologised to Santiago Gimenez.
It all stems from a counter-attack chance in the 60th minute, as Adrien Rabiot (after a great run, we should add) picked out Pulisic behind the Udinese defence. Instead of going for the hat-trick, the No.11 tried to square it to Gimenez for an easy goal.
Sadly, Udinese captain Jesper Karlström did really well to block the cross at the last second. It was more of a great block than a failed cross, but still, Pulisic apologised to Gimenez for not finding him as they walked off the pitch.
In short, Pulisic isn’t just delivering on the pitch in terms of goals and assists, but he’s also helping his teammates when possible.

This is good sign nice work guys please keep it up
I believe in Gimenez. I believe he will turn the page and will return to form.
This. He’s not a giving up and he’ll start scoring soon. If he didn’t get any chances I’d be worried but it’s only a matter of time when he’ll start banging constantly.
He just needs that first goal, a confidence booster. How the coach handles him will go a long way towards his game. Still rate him though…
He does so well in team play but the goals are not coming. I believe he will turn out good.
I hope Santi gets some confidence too, but even if he does, where are you going to play him when Rafa comes back? Allegri’s not sitting Pulisic and the club didn’t spend 40 million Euros on Nkunku to keep him on the bench. I hope Santi can be effective coming off the bench.
“Allegri’s not sitting Pulisic ”
Not what some of the experts on the comments section here say… 😀 😀 😀
I caught this during the match. This is why Pulisic will be captain of this team by the end of the season.
I can imagine Gimenez’s feeling game after game without a goal. I feel bad as if I was him. He gets into good positions, but doesn’t find the net. I’m sure he’ll turn the corner soon.
This is why Pulisic should be the captain of this team. Also, it was a great pass, just a better play by the defender to knock it away.
Agreed. Puli bent the ball pretty well and it looked like a perfect pass, but the defender just managed to slide in and knock it away.
Nice one guys please keep it up
If Pulisic believes in Santi, I believe in him too.
Let’s Santi Milan are behind you let’s get that goal tomorrow!
Let’s go 😅
I doubt Pulisic would want to be captain. It doesn’t fit his personality, especially having to deal with some of the strong characters at ACM.
