La Stampa: Open doors for Juve-Milan but with huge drawback for Rossoneri fans

By Isak Möller -

Despite the fact that Serie A decided to postpone five games this weekend, including Milan’s clash with Genoa, the Coppa Italia semi-final return leg on Wednesday will go ahead as planned.

In fact, the game will even be open to the public, as La Stampa reports (via MilanNews.it). In recent days, there has been speculation about the game and playing it behind closed doors seemed like the most logical solution.

However, only people that live in the Piedmont region will be allowed to attend the game, meaning many Milan fans will miss out on the action. One could argue that it would be fairer to forbid all the fans from the game.

On another note, as a result of the rescheduling, the Coppa Italia final will be played at San Siro as Olimpico will be in preparation for the Euros that week. Should Milan reach the final, it would be the perfect opportunity.
