Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan both missed out on France’s training session yesterday afternoon, recovering from minor discomforts. Today, the goalkeeper was back in action but the full-back wasn’t present.
Maignan underwent therapy in the gym yesterday and Hernandez rested after receiving a knock to his calf in the game against Ireland, as was reported by RMC Sport. Obviously, this quickly reached the Milan fans as the derby is up next.
Good news arrived from the same outlet today, though, as Maignan was back in training with the rest of the squad. However, Hernandez wasn’t present and will need a bit more time before returning to action, but it still shouldn’t be anything serious.
Milan will face Inter in the Derby della Madonnina on Saturday next week and the Rossoneri will need the Frenchmen healthy for the game. They are two key players and it would be hard to win without them, that’s for sure.
