GdS: Milan without Bakayoko, Origi and Kjaer for game against ZTE – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are getting ready for their next preseason friendly in Hungary against ZTE, and an update has arrived on the injury situation.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Tiemoué Bakayoko will not take the field tomorrow evening at 18:00 CEST in the friendly that Milan will play in Zalaegerszeg against ZTE. The French midfielder has a knee problem and therefore will not be available to Stefano Pioli.

Meanwhile, Divock Origi is still on the sidelines too and he will not play any part in the match. However, his recovery is progressing well and he should be back training with the rest of the squad by the end of the month.

Finally, Simon Kjaer – who missed the first two friendlies against Lemine Almenno and Cologne – will also not play tomorrow night against ZTE in Hungary. The Danish defender is doing well though, and his schedule foresees that he will play his first minutes against Wolfsberger in Klagenfurt, Austria.
