GdS: Milan hoping that Tomori will be the first of five key contract renewals

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are hoping that the extension of Fikayo Tomori’s contract will be the first in a series of key renewals, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan have almost got a full agreement on the renewal of Tomori until 2027 and they are not stopping there, as Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are ready to work on four other contract extensions.

In a bid to solidify the core for the future, Milan are hoping to get the renewals of Ismael Bennacer, Rade Krunic, Sandro Tonali and Rafael Leao over the line, all of whom are players that have shown their worth to the project and made vital contributions in the Scudetto winning season.

Whether talks are currently ongoing or whether they will wait until the transfer window is shut is not specified by the paper, but proactivity seems to be the order of the day.
