The agent of AC Milan defender Ricardo Rodriguez has confirmed that he held a ‘very nice’ meeting with the club on Monday.
The Swiss defender has been strongly linked with a move away from the Rossoneri in recent weeks, with Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain among the clubs reportedly interested.
As a result, his agent Gianluca Di Domenico apparently scheduled talks with representatives of the club at Casa Milan yesterday in order to establish what the future holds for the former Wolfsburg man.
Widespread reports have since suggested that Milan confirmed that they have no wishes to sell Rodriguez, especially when considering the fact Ivan Strinic is out until 2019.
“Today I had the pleasure, along with my client Ricardo Rodriguez, of meeting two great directors like Leonardo and [Paolo] Maldini,” Di Domenico wrote on Instagram.
“A very nice and interesting meeting with Milan.”
