Agent of Juventus winger pours cold water on talks of AC Milan or Barcelona move

By Oliver Fisher -

The agent of winger Federico Bernardeschi has attempted to cool transfer speculation surrounding his client by insisting he wishes to stay at Juventus.

Milan were heavily linked with Bernardeschi in January with several outlets reporting that a swap deal with Juventus involving Lucas Paqueta was being discussed.

It was claimed by TMW at the time that Juventus were interested in the aforementioned exchange, with intermediaries and the Italian’s entourage aware.

Last month, Romeo Agresti claimed that Bernardeschi could leave the Bianconeri this summer after three seasons, revealing that the Rossoneri are still interested, while earlier this week Barcelona and Atletico Madrid were also linked.

However, the player’s agent Beppe Bozzo now seems to have shut down any talk of an exit during an interview with Calciomercato.com.

When asked about the matter, Bozzo made it clear that Bernardeschi intends to stay at Juventus.

“I haven’t met the directors of other clubs. The only speech that came up was with Barcelona, more an exchange of ideas than anything else. Federico gets annoyed reading that he could leave,” he said.

“But he knows two things. First, that, especially in a phase like this, journalistic speculate wildly. Second, that he has no intention of leaving Juve.”
