The agent of AC Milan defender Diego Laxalt has confirmed that he will meet with the club to discuss his client’s future.
Milan have a logjam at present in the left-back position, with Laxalt being joined by Theo Hernandez, Ricardo Rodriguez and Ivan Strinic as options available to Marco Giampaolo.
This has led to rumours that the Uruguay international could leave, with links to Parma generating the most speculation, and Atalanta apparently also interested.
Now, the player’s agent has told MilanNews.it that talks with Milan over Laxalt’s future are scheduled, and that an exit is entirely possible.
“For now no news, but Tuesday afternoon we are planning a meeting at Casa Milan to talk with the Rossoneri leadership,” Ariel Krasouski said.
“Italy or abroad? No preference, the important thing is that it is a great club.”
