AC Milan defender Diego Laxalt is one step away from completing a move to fellow Serie A side Parma, a report claims.
The Uruguay international has been linked with a move away in recent days as the Rossoneri look to offload one of their four left-backs before the end of the window.
A meeting between Milan and Parma took place on Friday, during which the availability of Laxalt – as well as team-mate Ivan Strinic – were discussed.
The Rossoneri reportedly have no intention of recording a capital loss on the sale and have consequently set a €13m asking price for the former Genoa man.
According to Sunday’s edition of il Corriere della Sera, Laxalt is now ‘one step away’ from joining Parma just a year after he arrived at San Siro.
It is believed that a meeting will take place on Monday between the club and Laxalt’s agents to understand the player’s will.
The move is apparently likely to be a loan with option to buy, while West Ham and Newcastle were also credited with interest.
