Amadeus discusses potential Sanremo return for Ibrahimovic: “We will talk”

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was one of the big guests for the 2021 edition of Sanremo Festival, taking part in the annual five-day event. And it seems a return cannot be ruled out for this year’s edition.

Ibrahimovic’s appearance at the festival last year was a hot topic as Milan obviously had some games during the same period. There was a schedule outlined for the Swede, but then he got injured anyway and that made things easier.

In an interview with Tuttosport, as cited by Tuttosport, the host of the event Amadeus was asked about a potential return for Ibrahimovic. He stated that they will talk with each other, without giving any more details.

“I don’t know. We will talk. We only write to each other after the games of our respective teams [Inter fan] and we don’t talk about anything else,” he stated.

This year’s edition will take place in February (1-5) rather than March, which was the case last year. In that period, Milan won’t have any games but there will be an international break, so it remains to be seen what Ibra’s availability is like.
