Ambrosini believes Inter must win vs. Juve but says they have an ‘easier schedule than Milan’

By Isak Möller -

Tomorrow, a lot could be decided in the Scudetto race as Inter will face Juventus and Napoli will face Napoli. Milan, on the other hand, will take on Bologna on Monday evening.

Milan are currrnyly three points ahead of Napoli and six points ahead of Inter, who are under pressure to claim all three points tomorrow. They do have a game in hand, but slipping further down would make it very difficult for them.

Speaking to Tuttosport, as cited by MilanNews, former Milan midfielder Massimo Ambrosini shared his thoughts on the Scudetto race. He stated that Inter most likely must win tomorrow but also admitted that their schedule is easier than Milan’s.

“If Inter don’t win, then they will have a hard time recovering. Not just because of a new psychological backlash but also if Milan and Napoli were to win their matches. If they want to remain in the running, then Inter must collect the three points, although they have a game in hand and still have room to come back as they have an easier schedule than Milan,” he stated.

After this round, Milan still have Lazio and Atalanta to face while only Roma will remain for Inter. Ambrosini does have a point, therefore, but it matters little if the Nerazzurri were to slip down to nine points behind.
