Ambrosini praises Milan: “Yet another demonstration of their mental strength”

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan managed to put the 3-0 defeat against Chelsea behind them as they beat Juventus by two goals to nil at San Siro last night. It was yet another important signal, as their former captain Massimo Ambrosini argues.

Stefano Pioli and his men comfortably beat the Bianconeri as they were superior in every aspect of the game, especially tactically. Given the injury crisis they have, it was yet another sign of great strength within the team as they worked together.

Ambrosini, who’s currently a pundit for DAZN, was asked about Milan’s win after the game and he also brought up the Rossoneri’s mental strength. Despite several starters out, and having just lost 3-0, they looked very good.

“It’s yet another demonstration of the Rossoneri’s mental strength. Juventus started the game better, but Milan have a spirit and a soul that allows them to make up for even the many injuries. It’s a team that is doing well on the pitch, with players who in Italy know how to deal with even the strongest players,” he said as cited MilanNews.

Milan will get a second chance against Chelsea already next week as they will face in the second leg at San Siro. That will truly be the real test for the Rossoneri as they now at least have Theo Hernandez back in form.
