Arsene Wenger has denied any news of a confirmed deal with Schalke for left-back Sead Kolasinac.

Bosnian left-back, Sead Kolasinac has been on Milan’s radar for some time according to his father. It was believed that the defender had agreed a deal to join Arsenal in the summer, closing Milan’s hopes of signing the highly rated prospect.

Today, Arsene Wenger denied such rumours, stating in a press conference that “nothing has been concluded” with the player. Wenger continued to say that “we [Arsenal] can deny that story at the moment”.

There has been plenty of confusion surrounding Kolasinac’s future, with Corriere dello Sport previously stating that the deal was done for the Bosnian to join AC Milan – prior to contrasting reports in Italy that he was to sign for the Gunners.

It seems that there is still hope for Milan in their pursuit for the 23-year-old, who will become a free agent in the summer after 6 years of development in Gelsenkirchen.
