According to the Spanish newspaper AS, Atletico Madrid manager Simeone has declared his goal for the attack, which could help Milan in their pursuit of Correa.
The Argentine manager wants to bring in Rodrigo, who currently plays for league rivals Valencia. However, the cost of the operation would reportedly be €60m, which means the Spanish side need to sell.
Among the list of sellable players, Angel Correa is included. The striker is AC Milan’s main priority, and after weeks of negotiations, they could finally get the discount that they have been looking for.
Up until this point, Atletico have asked for €50m to sell the player, while Milan have gone as high as €40m. Now, the Rossoneri could get a discount on the deal, though it remains to be seen how long the Spanish side are willing to go.
