Atletico Madrid are very keen on AC Milan playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu and are ready to make an offer, according to a report.
Calhanoglu’s deal at Milan expires in June 2021 and there has been nothing in the media recently to suggest that he is close to signing a new contract, with a number of different outlets claiming teams like Manchester United are circling.
Claudio Raimondi of SportMediaset told MilanNews on Tuesday that the situation that Milan face regarding Calhanoglu’s renewal is a difficult one as there is a difference between offer an demand, with Inter and Napoli monitoring the situation.
According to the Spanish newspaper AS (via MilanNews), Atletico Madrid are also very interested in the attacking midfielder, who Milan signed three years ago back in summer 2017 from Bayer Leverkusen.
Diego Simeone’s side are even ready to make an offer for the Turkey international, though details of the offer are not included.
