AC Milan are planning on having a summer window that raises the level of the current squad and they have some big name targets for the attack, a report claims.
As Tutttosport (via MilanNews) reports, Milan will also focus on the attacking department as well as the midfield when the summer transfer window reopens, but there are a couple of things that must be established first.
The potential renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic must be resolved as well as the option to buy on Junior Messias, who would cost €5.4m if the management were to decide to sign him permanently from Crotone.
In terms of targets, the idea of signing Andrea Belotti on a free transfer remains one to be monitored, as well as the hypothesis of making a move to sign Domenico Berardi for the right wing.
Another striker who the Rossoneri directors really like is Jonathan David of Lille, but he costs a lot and is in the crosshairs of the big English clubs too.
Get Berardi & Belotti. No need to pay for two as Belotti will be happy to join on a free transfer.
I completely agree. Belotti for free is a coup. Just a great striker. And Berardi, some people might not like his style, but he is guaranteed to deliver at least 20 goals+assists every season, which is precisely what we need: a winger who actually contributes.
And we still need a CAM. Diaz is a bench player and no one knows how Adli will adapt to Serie A – my opinion is that, in Italy, he’ll be a better fit as a box-to-box player in a three-men midfield formation, but we’ll see. I hope those 100mil Milan will supposedly have to spend in the summer should be enough. Personally, I’d love for us to get Malinowskiy, as was speculated some time ago.
