Tuttosport: Two exits, two returns and three targets – Milan’s potential midfield moves

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are expected to make some moves in the midfield department this summer and there are several targets on the list, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) focuses on the moves that Milan might make in the midfield starting with exits. Given that Franck Kessie’s contract will expire in June he is a very safe bet to leave the club, while Tiemoue Bakayoko’s future is also in the balance given his lack of playing time and his loan could be ended early.

Then, Tommaso Pobega will return to the club after his loan spell with Torino and Yacine Adli will return from his loan at Bordeaux, fleshing out the numbers in the department.

There will also be at least one signing, and the Rossoneri really like Lille’s Renato Sanches, but they will need at least €25m to land him, while Bild in Germany speak of revived interest in Benfica’s Julian Weigl.

Finally, there is a low-cost solution in Roma’s Jordan Veretout, a player whom Stefano Pioli highly esteems after having coached him at Fiorentina.

  1. Milan should sign Renato Sanches, he is the perfect choice for us and they should let go Romag and sign in Botman that’s a nice card…But I’ll still love Jnr Messiahs in Milan…
