In an interview with Serie A broadcaster DAZN last night, Lucas Biglia opened up about the incident that took place during the derby, when he and Kessie had a heated argument on the bench following a substitution.
“I felt sick for 3-4 weeks afterwards, because I don’t like seeing myself like such a fool. Especially since I have kids, and you want to teach them the same things my parents taught me,” he began.
Both Biglia and Kessie were punished for the incident, which sparked rumours about an unhealthy relationship in the locker room. However, the Argentinian was clear to point out that there are no problems.
“I took my anger out on Kessie, I wanted to highlight the need for support for the teammate that just entered the field, nothing more. I have nothing personal against Franck, in fact, I have a great relationship with him,” he concluded.
