Di Marzio: Club Brugge interested in two Milan players for De Ketelaere deal

By Euan Burns -

Club Brugge are interested in two AC Milan players as part of the Charles De Ketelaere deal, a report claims.

As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, the Belgian side have shown serious interest in two of Milan’s youth prospects who they think could form part of the deal for De Ketelaere this summer.

The players in question are 20-year-old goalkeeper Andreas Jungdal and 19-year-old striker Emil Roback. The Scandinavian pair could help Milan to not part with quite so much cash.

Milan made a bid of €20 million for De Ketelaere this week but it was quickly rejected as the Belgian champions want at least €30 million for the midfielder. Leeds United have apparently already offered more than that for him so Milan must be quick.

The Rossoneri are planning a new offensive but it is not clear if they are interested in allowing the two Primavera players to be part of the deal.

  1. Hell no…. To let our two promising prospect leave. Please instead letting jungal & roback go, I think we include Alex seleas or whatever he’s called. Forza Milano!

    1. Not sure why on earth would Saelemaekers want to move back to Belgium? It’s not American sport, you can’t just tell the player he plays for another team now.

      1. R, you will notice that some of the people commenting on this site are 12 years old or didn’t graduate high school. Critical thinking and common sense are minimal among some here.

    2. Lol, you don’t even know his name. Genius, is Jungdal going to displace Maignan who is 27 in the next 5 years? Unlikely, so you think Jungdal is going to wait those 5 years on the bench or going on loan? If Roback, who is already 19, is so good why did they go out and get Lazetic after? I say include them in the package if it helps us get a young talent who will be playing NOW and try to include buy back clauses if Roback and Jungdal are so good. That’s it.

  2. I havent seen much primavera football, but from what ive heard both of them have alot of potential, so i would be sad to see them go. I would Esther like for Maldini and Massaro to try and get CDK for around 30m or a little less, seems like he wants to wear the rossoneri colours. Forza Milan!

  3. Saelemaekers is unlikely to agree a move back to Jupiler league, he’ll see it as too big of a backwards step. Jungdal could be included as a makeweight since we already have Plizzari. And likely Maignan will be our no.1 for at least the next 3 years.

Roback I hear good things about, perhaps offer him on a 2 year loan, no fee, including his wages? That would benefit him, and Brugge, and probably us if he comes back with more gametime

  4. Just give them that jungdal and roback. Jungdal cannot replace maignan in the next 3 season while roback have too many competitor in striker position like nasti, colombo, lazetic . As long as we can get CDK, i think AC Milan will not suffer from losing jungdal & roback

  5. just give’m what they want for CDK,
Primavera were fighting degradation last season, yal know what it’s mean
