Calhanoglu has yet to find the net in the league this season, and only once in the Europa League. Hakan is not happy with this and is eager to find the net. Before the Napoli game he spoke with DAZN on the subject.
“I am waiting for my first league goal of the season. I am always trying but perhaps I just need a bit more luck. I cannot give up but if we play well and get a win I will be just as happy.”

Hakan has registered a total of 10 assist across all competitions this season but only the lone goal in Europa League. Calhanoglu did not find the net against Napoli either.
