Castillejo not surprised by recent success: “The youngsters work with the mentality of Ibra”

Milan will be looking to add another three points to their Europa League tally this evening, taking on Lille at the San Siro. The Rossoneri are currently two points ahead in the group, so this is a good opportunity.

Stefano Pioli, as usual, has decided to make some changes to the starting eleven for this Europa League clash. In total, he has made five changes and three of them are up front, switching the entire trio behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Samu Castillejo is one of the players that will start, having missed out at the weekend due to a minor muscular issue. His season has been far from perfect thus far and this is yet another chance for him to prove that he deserves more playing time.

In an interview with Sky Italia just a few minutes ago, as cited by MilanNews.it, the Spaniard spoke about the Rossoneri’s current form. He also praised Ibrahimovic for his work and mentality at the club.

“Every game is a final for us. This Milan side doesn’t surprise me, the youngsters work with the mentality of Ibra, it has brought even more desire to win. We hope to succeed in achieving our goals,” he stated.
