Ceballos speaks out over future amid €50m links with AC Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has hinted that he will not leave the club on a permanent basis amid persistent links with a move to Milan.

Recent reports have suggested that the Rossoneri have turned their attentions to the Spain U21 star as their new main target for the midfield.

The player has repeatedly expressed his desire to play more and thus Milan could represent the perfect solution as Marco Giampaolo would be ready to put him in the centre of his technical project.

Milan though seem to be insisting on the formula of a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of that period, something Real apparently aren’t keen on.

Now, the player has weighed in on speculation over his future by admitting he still sees a future at the Bernabeu.

The former Betis man told El Chiringuito TV: “When you have players like Kroos or Modric in front of you it is very difficult to find space.

“I don’t want to spend more time on the bench because I think my time has come, I have a four-year contract with Real Madrid and I don’t expect to leave. My goal is to succeed in winning here in the short term.”
