AC Milan are prepared to sell midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu this summer on the back of a disappointing season, a report claims.
The Turkey international has struggled to find consistent form so far this term, and has played as part of a midfield three in recent weeks having shifted from the left-wing spot.
There have been numerous reports in recent weeks which have suggested that Calhanoglu could be on his way back to the Bundesliga, with RB Leipzig and Schalke among those linked.
The player for his part has always re-iterated his desire to stay at San Siro but he may not have a choice, if reports from calciomercato.com are to be believed.
They claim that Milan are hoping that some interest is raised in the former Leverkusen star between now and the end of the season.
The club ideally do not want to make a loss on the €20million (plus bonuses) they paid back in summer 2017, however it is hard to imagine he is worth any more at the moment.
It is not fair to put the blame for Milan’s lacklustre performance on any player. Milan have no plan of attack. Or rather, they build their attack slow step by slow step until they lose the ball well before they are anywhere near the opponents’ net.
