CM: Calhanoglu’s agent to arrive in Italy as Milan prepare three-year renewal

Hakan Calhanoglu is destined to stay at Milan. The Turkish international, who was one of the best players in Serie A in the post-lockdown period, is ready to start the renewal talks with the Rossoneri.

According to Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo, Gordon Stipic is set to arrive in Italy in the coming days. The agent, who represents Calhanoglu, will discuss the renewal of the 26-year-old with the aim to reach an agreement.

Milan are ready to put a three-year renewal on the table, and since his current deal will expire in 2021, that would make it valid until 2024. It remains to be seen how much he will, though it’s certain that a pay rise will be involved.

Calhanoglu managed to register 11 goals and 9 assists to his name this past season, flourishing in a new role in the post-lockdown period. Hopefully, he can build on his good form this upcoming season as it would help Milan a lot.
