CM: Conti could leave on loan as two clubs show interest – Milan want to sell Duarte

In addition to reinforcing the squad with a few signings this month, Milan are also looking to get rid off some dead wood. Despite the injury crisis, there is more than one player who could leave the club.

According to Calciomercato.com, the situation of Andrea Conti is very delicate, having lost his spot as the first-choice right-back. In fact, he’s struggling a lot as both Davide Calabria (now irreplaceable) and Diogo Dalot are ahead.

Genoa and Fiorentina have shown their interest in the player, but they haven’t convinced the latter. Milan don’t want to make a capital loss (€9m is needed) and a loan is thus the solution, but Conti would need to agree to it.

Another player that could leave is Leo Duarte, with Milan keen on selling him outright. Palmeiras and Atletico Mineiro are interested, while some French clubs have also inquired about him. Either way, he’s expected to leave.
