CM: €25m-rated Szoboszlai wants Milan move as negotiations are underway

By Isak Möller -

Dominik Szoboszlai will leave RB Salzburg at the end of the season and his future could very well be in Serie A. There isn’t a lack of offers from Germany and England, but the Hungarian has seemingly made a decision.

According to Calciomercato.com, he wants a move to Italy, where Lazio and especially Milan are keen on landing his services. Back in April, the midfielder stated that a move to the Rossoneri would be ‘destiny’.

Although Ralf Rangnick hasn’t been announced as Milan’s new manager yet, the deal is in the works because of the will of the 61-year-old. Szoboszlai is their first choice for the summer and they are ready to offer a leading role.

Milan, in principle, already have the player’s consent and now need to reach an agreement with Salzburg. The asking price has been set at €20-25m, but as always it will depend a lot on the market.

The more competition, the higher the price tag gets. The Austrian Bundesliga will end on July 5th and Szoboszlai wants to know his future before going on vacation. Therefore, it’s now just a matter of waiting.
