CM: Four clubs interested in Milan full-back Rodriguez

By Oliver Fisher -

Four clubs are reportedly keen on full-back Ricardo Rodriguez, who could be sold by AC Milan this summer.

All the recent speculation has suggested that the Rossoneri are pushing through a move for Real Madrid’s Theo Hernandez, which perhaps highlights new boss Marco Giampaolo’s desire to upgrade the left side of defence.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are more keen on the idea of sacrificing Diego Laxalt in order to help free space for Hernandez, but it is Ricardo Rodriguez who arouses more interest from other clubs.

Former Milan head coach Vincenzo Montella is reportedly keen on taking the Swiss international to Fiorentina, but Rodriguez is described as a ‘priority’ for Bundesliga side Schalke 04.

Another Bundesliga club are interested in RB Leipzig, while in the past few days there had also been a survey by Arsenal, due to the recommendation of his compatriot Granit Xhaka.

  1. Yess, they’re selling everyone I really don’t want to see play in Milan shirt again. They should also get rid of Calhanoglu and Kessie (if that gets us Torreira). I’m finally excited about the team

  2. I think Rodriguez would be better at a center back position since his is rather slow. There are much better players for the left back/wing positions.
