CM: Ibrahimovic wants to be in good form for Milan’s clashes against Spurs

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is currently recovering from knee surgery and it seems that he could be back at the start of 2023. His big goal is the two-legged affair against Tottenham, which is obviously crucial for AC Milan.

The Swede underwent serious surgery in the summer and has been working hard to recover since then. The preliminary return date has always been at the start of 2023 and by the looks of it, the 41-year-old is on track.

According to Calciomercato.com, Ibrahimovic wants to be back in good form for Milan’s games against Tottenham (the first leg is on February 14). He will join the team in Dubai and it will be a crucial training retreat to understand his condition.

It won’t be easy for the veteran but he has come back from difficult situations before. If he can get back into good shape, then he will be a great asset for Milan and Stefano Pioli, not just because of his experience but also his quality.

  1. What a physique he has! I don’t see the reason for him to stop playing anytime soon. He is still having that innate feeling to score goal from all the possible and impossible positions. Hope he stays and plays for Milan for at least another 2 and a half years. Forza Ibra!
