CM: Kalulu set for second consecutive start against Genoa – Dalot loses battle again

By Isak Möller -

Pierre Kalulu got the nod ahead of Diogo Dalot last time out and did a decent job on the right-hand side of the defence. Stefano Pioli has also made a decision between the two for tomorrow’s game, a report claims.

Milan will take on Genoa at San Siro, with kick-off scheduled for 12.30 CEST, and Kalulu will make his second consecutive start in the league. According to Daniele Longo, the Frenchman is ahead of Dalot when it comes to the starting spot.

As Zlatan Ibrahimovic is suspended, there will also be a change up front with Rafael Leao set to take that spot. Other than that, though, the Rossoneri’s XI will be the same as the one that faced Parma last weekend.

This is a good sign for Milan as they have struggled with many absences all season, now finally able to rely on a strong team each game. And they will surely need it, as the final eight games of the season will be absolutely crucial.
