Rafael Leao is one of the players that are capable of creating something out of almost nothing, which could come in handy. As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, the performance against Lazio confirmed just how good he can be.
Stefano Pioli is convinced that the Portuguese youngster could be Milan’s weapon against Liverpool. Thus far, he has found the continuity that was so obviously lacking last season, and that does indeed bode well.
This summer, Milan were approached by Everton, Marseille, Wolverhampton and above all Borussia Dortmund over Leao, per the report. However, the Rossoneri rejected all of the offers for the winger as they have great trust in him, convinced that he can be the one.
And this evening, as we have seen at the start of the season, Leao will have to repay that trust by putting in a good performance.
