CM: Milan have ‘100%’ decided on Pobega’s future amid switch to 4-3-3

By Oliver Fisher -

There continue to be rumours regarding the possible exit of Tommaso Pobega this summer, but there is reportedly no substance to them.

Pobega had his first season with Milan’s first team in 2022-23 and although he played a bit part role for the majority of the campaign he did score three goals including one in the Champions League.

There has been speculation that Torino are looking to bring him back after his loan spell there under Ivan Juric a season prior, with talks he could be involved in an exchange deal for full-back Wilfried Singo.

According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Pobega will ‘100% remain’ with Milan beyond the summer despite the rumours about a future away from Milan.

The management and Stefano Pioli have great faith in the midfielder, who they believe be very useful given the imminent transition to a 4-3-3 formation, allowing him to play a box-to-box role which is more suited to his characteristics.

  1. Pobega, Krunich, Mesias, Rebich, Gabia and so on can you understand Pioli that they’s quality aren’t for Milan, especially your favorite player Krunich. maybe i forgot someone from the Pioli’s line-up I apologize, the squad which I worte above level of Serie B or C. not for Milan.

    1. That squad you wrote played part in Milan Scudetto and semifinal of UCL. Especially Krunic.

Maybe not Milan starter-quality, but they’re fine for squad player. And they are Serie A level for sure, half of Serie A Will be using them as starting eleven player. Definitely too good for Serie B.

  4. Might as well start talks with Juric to come to Milan if/when Pioli starts losing points.. tho im not sure about his 3421 at Milan 😀

  5. Would be surprised if he’s not sold. It’s best to let him go to a club where he can get first team football. He won’t get that at Milan.

  6. Adili should stay and giving the chance to prove himself to me he is a very fine player but he dnt have the minutes in his legs
