CM: Milan still consider Chelsea and PSG forward duo as plan A and B

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are expected to conclude this summer transfer window with the arrival of a striker. Lorenzo Colombo is set to leave on loan and the Rossoneri have a Chelsea and PSG forward duo at the top of their list.

Colombo is just one step away from joining Monza on a season-long loan and as a result, Milan are looking to bring in another striker from the team. Having already secured a centre-back, the centre-forward signing will be their last of the summer.

According to Calciomercato.com, despite the latest rumours such as the Sardar Azmoun ones, Armando Broja (Chelsea) and Hugo Ekitike (PSG) remain Plan A and B for the Rossoneri. Only if these fall through, they will look elsewhere.

It’s believed that Milan want to sign a striker on an initial loan deal and it remains to be seen if either Chelsea or PSG will go for this. In the meantime, Stefano Pioli is relying on Olivier Giroud, Noah Okafor and Lorenzo Colombo (who has not been given the go-ahead for the loan yet) for the No.9 role.

    1. That will be signed only after Ballo Toure leave. And even if we don’t sign LB back up we still have Calabria, Florenzi, and Bartesaghi that can play there.
