CM: Milan communicate decision to €25m winger over future amid contrasting speculation

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have no intentions of cutting short Ante Rebic’s loan from Eintracht Frankfurt despite the recent reports in the media.

Sunday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that Rebic’s stay at Milan is in doubt due to the not exactly idyllic past relationships between the Croatian and Ralf Rangnick.

They stated that Rebic ‘does not marry Rangnick’s football philosophy’ despite the fact he has seven goals in all competitions in 2020 alone, and that Rangnick has instead green-lighted a move for Lyon star Memphis Depay as his replacement.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com however, the rumours from the paper are completely false. Instead, the Rossoneri management are at work trying to negotiate a deal to sign the 26-year-old on a permanent basis.

The headline indicates that this is a decision which has already been communicated to the former Fiorentina man, who is believed to be valued in the region of €25million at present.
