CM: Milan could sell five players who are not part of the plans – swap deal possible for one

By Oliver Fisher -

While a lot of the attention is centred around new additions to the squad, the Milan management are also at work to sell players no longer in the plans.

Calciomercato.com writes that Samu Castillejo is no longer part of the Rossoneri’s project for next season but has already hinted that he does not want to leave the club, so that is an issue that must be resolved. On the other hand, Diego Laxalt will leave on a permanent basis as tomorrow he will have his medical examinations with Dynamo Moscow ahead of a €4m move.

A meeting with Andrea Conti’s agent is expected at the beginning of next week as the right-back is admired by Genoa but could be included in a negotiation with Hellas Verona for playmaker Mattia Zaccagni. Verona are also fans of Mattia Caldara, another player who is set to depart.

Then there is Jens Petter Hauge, who Milan are ready to evaluate offers from €12m upwards for despite a first season with some promise. Otherwise, only loan proposals will be considered.
