CM: Milan determined to realize revolution as Rangnick remains in pole – the latest

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan must, and want, to rebuild. The results of the last seasons haven’t been in line with the plans of Elliott, who took over the club in the summer of 2018. In short, the relaunching of the club hasn’t gone as fast as planned.

As Daniele Longo states in his latest piece for Calciomercato.com, the time has come for choices, even courageous ones. In spite of the Coronavirus outbreak, the Rossoneri’s priorities haven’t changed: Ralf Rangnick is the perfect profile for the club.

The German manager has already shown that he can take a project and make it grow, thus he represents the perfect solution in the eyes of Gordon Singer and CEO Ivan Gazidis. In other words, Stefano Pioli is set to leave.

Elliott appreciate the manager’s work this season, as he has been able to restore the mentality in the group. However, they don’t believe that he’s the right man for the project, while he hasn’t been flawless result-wise this season.

Per the report, Rangnick is studying Italian six hours per day, as he remains in pole position to become Milan’s new manager. The parties have been in talks for quite some time now and bar any major surprises, the German’s destiny has been outlined.
