CM: Milan handed boost as Inter withdraw from race for €30m Udinese man

As Gigio Donnarumma’s contract will expire in 2021, this summer will be crucial to understand his future with AC Milan. The latter could be forced to find a replacement, selling their star to avoid losing him for free.

Per Calciomercato.com, Juan Musso is one of the goalkeepers on the Rossoneri’s wish list, having impressed this season with Udinese. However, up until now, Inter seemed to be one step ahead in the race.

The Nerazzurri are looking for a successor to Samir Handanovic – who will turn 36 in July – and Musso seemed to be their first choice for quite some time. Due to his price tag of €30m, though, other alternatives are being explored.

As the report continues, this is too much to invest especially in these times. Although the price could be lowered with some technical counterparts, Inter aren’t too keen on this as Musso would be the back-up goalkeeper at least for next season.

Instead, they could bring back Andrei Radu who currently is on loan at Parma. Of course, this is a big boost for Milan in their pursuit of Musso, should Donnarumma leave the club in the summer.
