CM: Milan have made a decision on Daniel Maldini amid loan speculation

By Isak Möller -

As a result of their signings this summer, Milan will also have to part ways with a few players. Some on a permanent basis while some will be sent out on loan to gain more experience, perhaps Daniel Maldini.

The attacking midfielder, son of Paolo Maldini, is now 19-years-old and made a total of nine appearances for Milan this past season. Two of them were from start and it’s sage to say he didn’t get loads of playing time.

For next season, therefore, inevitably some loan rumours emerged but the Rossoneri want to keep the player. This was reported by Calciomercato.com, claiming that Maldini will remain at the club for this season as well.

One would have to assume that the plan is to give him more playing time, as keeping him otherwise wouldn’t make sense for either party. If the report is indeed true, we can only hope that Daniel will get the chance.

  1. I think to grow the mental aspect for this youngster is the most important.
But strength, skills, creativity, determination, courage, teamwork, will also be decisive.

  2. What happened with his older brother? I remember he got injured and later never heard of him? Is he still playing or the injury was that bad???
