CM: Milan set firm stance over Donnarumma; renewal talks scheduled

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are completely unwilling to consider the idea of selling star goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to a report.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed on Thursday that Milan may have to sell one of their star players following the outcome of the 2018-19 budget, with Donnarumma mentioned as an option.

According to Calciomercato.com though, owners Elliott Management are determined to keep the 20-year-old, who is considered unsellable.

Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a move for Donnarumma over the last two years, and the Rossoneri rejected an offer of €20m plus Alphonse Areola in the summer.

There is no intention to let go of Gigio in the middle of the season, the report adds, and it would take an ‘outrageous offer’ to even consider parting with him.

The Rossoneri leaders will meet with his agent Mino Raiola to discuss a renewal, however it is not expected to be straightforward.
